Caring for Your Jwicks Candle

Every Jwicks candle is crafted to burn beautifully — clean, long, and safe.
A little care goes a long way. Here’s how to get the best experience from your candle:

  1. Store with care. Keep your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or bright indoor lighting. Heat and light can fade fragrance and color over time.

  2. Set the memory burn. On your first light, let the wax melt evenly to the edges of the vessel (about 2–3 hours). This prevents tunneling and helps your candle burn evenly every time.

  3. Trim before you light. Keep your wick about ¼" long before each burn. This ensures a steady flame and cleaner scent throw. If your wick “mushrooms” or curls, extinguish, trim, and relight.

  4. Know when to stop. Always leave about ¼" of wax at the bottom of the vessel. Burning too low can overheat the container and cause cracking.

  5. Stay present. Never leave a candle burning unattended. Keep away from drafts, pets, and anything flammable.

  6. Keep it fresh. Once cooled, replace the lid to protect your candle from dust and preserve its natural fragrance.
